I wore it on the course — is a budget golf GPS watch’s yardage actually accurate or off by a club?
The NAVO W1 golf GPS watch is listed with front, middle, and back distances, hazard tracking, and no subscription. Whether a budget golf GPS watch’s yardage is actually accurate or off by a club is the real test — check the video for the on-course result.
• Front, middle, and back distances as listed
• Hazard tracking as listed
• No subscription as listed
• Golf GPS watch format as listed
• Check the on-course test in the video for whether the yardages matched reality or were off by a club
• Verify course coverage on the listing — budget GPS watches sometimes miss smaller courses
• Check battery life over a full round in the video — GPS watches that die on hole 15 are useless
• Confirm hazard tracking actually worked on the course, not just on the spec sheet
• Check readability in sunlight — a watch you cannot read on a sunny day fails the job
Is the yardage accurate?
That is the on-course test — check the video for whether the distances matched or were off by a club.
Does hazard tracking work?
Hazard tracking is listed — check the video for whether it actually flagged hazards on the course.
What should I check before buying?
Confirm course coverage, battery life, and subscription-free status on the Amazon listing, and watch the on-course test for the real result.
May suit golfers wanting a no-subscription GPS watch for front, middle, and back yardages, if the accuracy test in the review proves out.
