I planted it in a shady spot — does this grass seed actually sprout and fill in or just sit there?
Pennington The Rebels Tall Fescue is listed as a 20 lb shade-tolerant grass seed for 4 to 6 hours of sunlight, with heavy traffic durability and up to 10,000 sq ft of coverage. Shade tolerance claims need a real planting test — check the video for the shady-spot result.
• 20 lb bag as listed
• Tall fescue blend as listed
• Shade tolerant for 4 to 6 hours of sunlight as listed
• Heavy traffic durability as listed

Does it actually sprout in shade?
That is the shady-spot planting test — check the video for whether it sprouted and filled in.
Is it really traffic durable?
Heavy traffic durability is the listed claim — check the listing for what that is based on.
What should I check before buying?
Confirm the coverage, sunlight requirements, and seeding rate on the Amazon listing against your lawn’s conditions.
May suit homeowners with partly shaded lawns wanting a durable tall fescue, if the planting test in the review shows real germination.
