I turned it on in a dark basement — is a cordless work light actually 8000 lumens bright or are the specs inflated?
The LIVOWALNY LED work light is listed as a 60W, 8000-lumen cordless jobsite light compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries, tool only, with USB and Type-C PD fast charging and low voltage protection. Whether a cordless work light actually hits 8000 lumens or the specs are inflated is the real test — check the video for the dark-basement result.
• 60W, 8000 lumens as listed
• Compatible with DeWalt 20V batteries as listed
• Tool only as listed
• USB and Type-C PD fast charging as listed
• Low voltage protection as listed
• Check the basement test in the video for whether the brightness matched the 8000-lumen claim
• Tool only means no battery included — check the listing before ordering if you do not already own DeWalt 20V batteries
• Verify runtime on your battery size — high lumens drain 20V packs fast
• Check the USB and Type-C PD charging in the video — using it as a power bank is a bonus worth verifying
• Confirm whether low voltage protection actually cut off before the battery drained too low
Is it really 8000 lumens?
That is the dark-basement test — check the video for whether the brightness lived up to the spec or was inflated.
Does it work as a charger too?
USB and Type-C PD fast charging are listed — check the video for whether it actually charged devices well.
What should I check before buying?
Confirm battery compatibility, runtime, and tool-only status on the Amazon listing, and watch the basement test for the real result.
May suit DeWalt 20V owners wanting a bright cordless jobsite light, if the brightness test in the review proves out.
